First Priority / Life Seekers Christian Club
*Club meets* each Thursday at 1:20 pm in Room 105A in Building 1
Life Seekers began in 2005, when Christine Louis, a young lady in the Medical Academy had the desire to share her faith with other students.
Life Seekers Mission Statement: “Life Seekers Christian Club meets so that students of like faith can mutually encourage and support each other in their faith walk. For students who are seeking a new direction in their life, a sense of purpose, a real and deep sense of faith with joy in the journey, Life Seekers is the place to be. We let our light shine!”
Life Seekers joined First Priority in 2009. First Priority is a Christian organization that serves students on over 200 public middle and high school campuses in Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie and Dade counties. Their mission statement is: “First Priority is committed to bridging the gap between young people and Jesus Christ by uniting the church to reach the campus!”
First Priority/Life Seekers goes through a four-week cycle each month targeting (T-E-A-M) Teaching – Encouraging – Accountability – Missions,
which encompasses the Life Seekers’ mission statement, as well as First Priority’s mission statement.
Our scripture is: “You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart”. Jeremiah 29:13
